Payoneer was founded back in 2005 with the idea of finding an easy & safe way to transfer funds between countries. At the time, we based our business on prepaid debit cards, focusing on the travel industry. Over the years, we evolved from a prepaid card company to an all-in-one payment solution, which connects businesses, professionals, countries and currencies all over the world through an innovative cross-border payments platform.

After its first year in business, Payoneer had less than ten employees. Today, there are over 500 Payoneer employees worldwide, and this number continues to grow each month. We pride ourselves on having a global team of smart, caring people who wake up every day and love what they get to do – working together to help our customers succeed.

Beyond our global headquarters in NYC, Payoneer is now proud to have expanded with additional operational and sales offices in Europe, US and Asia, with new offices opening in Silicon Valley and Hong Kong in 2015. In addition, through the Payoneer Ambassador Program, we now have on the ground activities in over 25 additional cities worldwide.
